The girl had no legal access to abortion in Pennsylvania, where her parents must consent.  This is the direct consequence of anti-choice zealots: taking away what dignity, respect, and alternatives left were left to a 13 year old who is being controlled, manipulated, and raped by someone more than twice her age.  Way to go “pro-lifers”, what an awesome accomplishment: empowering rapists like Michael Lisk over 13 year old girls, leading her to desperately jab herself with a pencil.

Christian “morality” in action.

Unfortunately this is abnormal from what I usually post but to begin this off, I’m not advocating for one religion or another, I’m merely making a statement.

So….

EXCUSE ME! But I wouldn’t call this Christian “morality” if I was anyone here or any one who had a sense of a brain! This is the movement of religious zealots and not all Christians behave like this. Unfortunately, this occurred and these events are horrible (although I believe this girl is an idiot for having sex so young, but that’s a personal belief and has nothing to do with the actions or beliefs of other Christians out there). As a pro-choice Christian WOMAN I feel like a comment calling it “Christian “morality”” is not only lumping all Christians into one group it’s also stereotyping those who may have other beliefs also putting us down and portraying all of us as some sort of immoral “anti-women” group.  I’m offended by the comment of Christian “morality and wonder if people do their research first when they make comments about all Christians. I wouldn’t go around blatantly saying something about another person’s religion or their lack of.  Just something for the commenting parties to think about before lumping us together into one group.

And sorry, I don’t normally go on rants like this but I felt it was necessary when this arrived on my dash.
